Bendel Gardens

Located in the historic Bendel Gardens neighborhood, this flood remodel takes you back in time.  Stealing styling cues from The Brady Bunch and the Bauhaus Movement, the mid-century modern makeover combined an honest use of natural materials and simplistic lines.

By concealing the kitchen work spaces behind pocket doors, we were able to hide the everyday clutter of living with a minimalist look.  A continuous slab of riff cut oak was used for each section of door and drawer to keep the continuity of grain throughout each unit.  Deep drawers with a modular peg system is used to store the every day flatware below the counter line instead of the traditional upper cabinets.
